6 Day Itinerary

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a Lush Africa Safaris driver/guide will be waiting to transfer you to your boutique hotel. You can choose to go for the Nairobi city tour on your first day depending on what time you arrive in Kenya. Nairobi is a bustling modern metropolis with a range of world-class hotels, museums, restaurants, and even an urban national park in the shape of Nairobi National Park, where you can see the  Big Five.  During the Nairobi city tour, you will explore some important historical landmarks including the parliamentary buildings, Uhuru Freedom Park, Kenyatta International Convention Center, and the Savova Stanley among others.

The number of attractions you will visit will depend on how much time you have left until 6 pm when you will be transferred to your hotel before traffic heats up.

Meals

Dinner

After breakfast, you will depart for Amboseli National Park, a lush wildlife paradise at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Mountain Kilimanjaro. It doesn’t disappoint when it comes to offering sightings of big herds of giraffes, elands, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, baboons…the list is endless. Most of these animals can be seen in the park’s dusty plains and marshy swamps.

Overnight at any lodge of your preference in Amboseli.

Meals

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After breakfast, you will have game viewing in Amboseli in pursuit of animals you might have missed seeing the previous day. This will be followed by a departure to the beautiful Tsavo East National Park via the Great Rift Valley. Tsavo is a land of astonishing contrasts featuring miles of open plains, semi-arid shrub and bushy grassland, and a metamorphic rock known as Mutanda. It is home to all the big five in addition to countless herds of giraffes. The best viewing spot is the Galana river which is fringed by riverine forests. Tsavo is one of the few places to chance on fringe-eared oryx, lesser kudu, and the critically endangered hirola.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After breakfast, you will head out for another thrilling game drive. Thanks to strict conservation laws, the park has an extraordinary range of 500 species of birds. Game viewing experiences here aren’t as exhausting for visitors as it is in some other parks as it is not crowded with tourists. Tsavo is also home to the Daphne Sheldrick Sanctuary. Here, the older elephant orphans are brought for release back into the wild. Throughout your stay in the park, you will be accompanied by an expert ranger guide who will share the life stories of these gentle giants and so much more.

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

After a four-day marathon of adrenaline-pumping excursions, Diani is the place where you need to go for relaxation.

Diani is a Kenyan coastal town with beautiful wild scenery that is incredibly peaceful. It is dominated by white sand beaches and forests of towering coconut trees. In this earthly paradise, you will find lots of magnificent resorts where you kick back and enjoy life.

Thanks to the sweeping breeze of the Indian Ocean here, it doesn’t feel hot even in dry months. For much of the year, Diani is totally revitalizing, and clean with minimal plastic and litter! Even better, the turquoise water of the vast ocean provides a refreshing swimming experience as it is warm, especially in the shallows of low tide.

One of the things that makes Diani truly special is that it is one of the last places that have not been swarmed by too many tourists. Unlike Mombasa, it is not noisy, nor too busy. This makes it a splendid place to take a jog, take a leisurely evening stroll or simply sit on a mat and meditate with the water waves as your soundtrack.
