Wake up fresh and follow your adventure instincts to an action-packed sunrise game drive. Our safari guides know where the action is and they will take you right to the center of it all. When you’re done with the game drive, you will rest for lunch before embarking on an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel that links Lake George to Lake Edward. The channel houses the highest concentration of hippos in Africa thriving in the same community with the fierce Nile crocodiles as well as a rich bird life that flourishes on the banks.

After a mouthwatering breakfast, next is the moment you have all been waiting for all this time. It’s time to meet a gorilla family. Nothing stimulates man’s imagination like coming face to face with a mountain gorilla. Gorilla tracking in Bwindi brings you closer to a gorilla family where you’ll be able to watch these peaceful giants play, eat and go about every aspect of their life just like humans do. The gorilla tracking experience takes 1-5hours depending on the proximity of the random setting where these majestic giants are rummaging on the day of your visit. In the interest of offering nature lovers a quality experience, the maximum number of tourists allowed to see each family is 8. Considering that some parts of the climb are steep, we can help you hire a local porter to carry your luggage as you journey through the forest. Gorilla tracking is a first-class ticket for you to encounter the other flora and fauna of the park. At the end of your walk through this lush jungle, you will return to your lodge, to rest as you soak up unobstructed views of the mountain scenery.
