QUAD BIKING:

No driving license is required. No prior Quad Biking experience is needed. And it is a lot of fun. Free training and a practice session come in handy for first-timers though. But generally, these are easy-to-ride Quad bikes. The tracks and trails begin from Bujagali Falls and stretch downstream to villages and farms. The quad-bike tour leads to the inner-core of rural Uganda giving you a glimpse into indigenous peoples’ lives. Seven to 12-year-olds can enjoy the Kids Quad Circuits whereas older people can take River Ride Safari, Explorer ATV Safari, Twilight Safari, Overland Safari, and Trailblazers among other quad biking packages.

HORSEBACK RIDING

You might have been on horseback before but riding along the banks of the mighty Nile is a whole new experience. Nile Horseback in Jinja offers a rare opportunity to explore rural areas on the banks of the river. The activity is open to both debutants and experienced riders. Rides range from 1 – 3 hrs of exciting adventure through plantations, villages and stretching to as far as a section of Mabira forest with spectacular views of the Nile and her magnificent rapids.

SUNSET CRUISE:

Operated by Nile River Explorers, the sunset cruise runs from 1700hrs to 1900hrs on the Nile. The cruise explores the waters of the now submerged Bujagali Falls. It requires a minimum of five people and a maximum of 40 people. Onboard, they serve food and there is also a bar.

WHITE WATER RAFTING:

Exciting, challenging, thrilling, and absolutely worth it. Bounce with the waves in one of the most thrilling activities on the water. Rafting on the Nile ranges from grade three to grade five rapids respectively. More experienced rafters dare the roughest of rapids. A Full Day Rafting trip starts with pick-up from a designated point in Kampala, transfer to Jinja, undergo briefing, and get on to the river. A light lunch is served on the river and a barbecue dinner after the rafting. The shuttle returns to Kampala in the evening – unless you have an extended stay and have had accommodation arranged in advance.
