Itinerary
Once at your hotel, our attentive driver-guide will assist with your check-in, and a hotel porter will bring your luggage to your room. After a long journey, you can unwind at the lodge, immersing yourself in the tranquil surroundings as you settle in for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast at the hotel and a brief orientation on the day’s activities, you’ll set out for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park for an immersive full-day safari.
Nestled slightly off the main safari circuit in Northern Tanzania, Tarangire National Park is a hidden gem known for its iconic elephant migration, vibrant birdlife, and genuine safari ambience. This tranquil park remains undisturbed mainly, as most travellers only spend a few hours here, leaving many areas wonderfully untouched and ripe for exploration.
At midday, your guide will arrange a beautifully set table with a hot meal featuring fresh soup, warm bread rolls, a hearty main course, and a refreshing fruit salad. You can enjoy this with a glass of wine or tea or coffee. After lunch, your safari adventure continues as you explore more of Tarangire’s stunning landscapes and wildlife. As evening falls, you’ll head to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
In the heart of the Central Serengeti lies the famed Seronera region, renowned for its robust wildlife population, including Africa’s iconic ‘Big Five.’ The Serengeti is home to the continent’s largest lion population, with more than 3,000 lions thriving in this diverse ecosystem thanks to the rich availability of prey. Elusive leopards are also a common sight in the Seronera area, making this region an exceptional spot for close encounters with these majestic cats.
Enjoy a thrilling game drive as you explore this remarkable landscape. At midday, your guide will set a comfortable table for a hot lunch with fresh soup, bread rolls, a delicious main dish, and fruit salad, complemented by your choice of wine, tea, or coffee. After lunch, the ‘Big Five’ search continues, focusing on finding more of Serengeti’s celebrated big cats. As the evening sets in, you’ll head to the lodge, where dinner and a restful overnight stay await.

At midday, your guide will prepare a scenic lunch setting with a hot meal featuring a selection of soup, fresh bread rolls, a satisfying main dish, and a refreshing fruit salad. Enjoy this with your wine, tea, or coffee before continuing the afternoon game drive. During the Great Migration season, the Serengeti transforms as over a million wildebeest surges across the plains, each driven by nature’s ancient call to migrate. This breathtaking spectacle is marked by intense territorial battles and mating rituals—a powerful reminder of the cycle of life that defines this ecosystem.
As evening approaches, your guide will set up a sundowner picnic table with snacks and drinks, allowing you to savour the magic of a Serengeti sunset. Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.
It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.
