Itinerary
Upon arrival at Nairobi Airport, you'll be welcomed by your safari guide. Transfer to your hotel in Nairobi to rest and prepare for your safari.
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly for scenic views. Arrive in Maasai Mara by midday, enjoy lunch at your lodge, and set out for your first afternoon game drive. Spot wildlife such as giraffes, elephants, lions, and more before returning to the lodge for dinner.
Spend the day in Maasai Mara with early morning and late afternoon game drives. Look for the "Big Five"—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos—as well as zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, and countless bird species. An optional visit to a Maasai village is available to experience local traditions and culture.
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti with extensive game drives. Your guide will lead you to prime wildlife-viewing areas, where you can encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, and expansive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. Lunch will be enjoyed as a picnic in the park or back at the camp.
Depart Serengeti after breakfast and drive toward the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for an afternoon game drive in this unique ecosystem, home to rhinos, lions, elephants, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Enjoy spectacular views and photography opportunities before heading to your lodge nearby for dinner.
After breakfast, travel to Arusha. Have lunch and some relaxation time in town before your transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight home.
